The Asia-Pacific Young Artist International Instrumental Music Championship, also known as APMC, is a prestigious music contest jointly organized by 16 countries in the Asia-pacific region ,this year will be held in Shenzhen, China.The competition complies with the international standards and practices and adheres to the principles of authority, fairness, orientation, public welfare, professionalism and popularity.
APMC is held every two years, with participation form both professional and non-professional groups. The competition goes through four rounds contest.The preliminary, semi-final and Live final (two rounds).Contestants register online and upload video recording of their works. Their works will be exhibitions online, for a public voting segment. Experts from 20 countries covering all disciplines will judge the 77 categories. They will conduct academic forums, master classes and will perform online and offline

PURPOSE
The purpose of the APMC is to enhance the musical taste and aesthetic ability of children and teenagers in the region, broaden horizons, select and commend, recommend and publicize outstanding professional and non-professional players and innovative talents, and promote the harmony, cooperation, peace and development among youths in the Asia-Pacific region.
